Display a Dialog / Infolog on MPOS using CRT

Hi All,

I have a requirement to Override Loyalty Process and Display an Information to cashier with processed data on MPOS.

I have completed the Process of Loyalty using CRT but i couldn't display Information on screen.

I tried with Messagebox.show() , but gives error unable to process request, when i pass parameter as ServiceNotification it works but doesn't display any information.

Kindly share your thoughts to either display an Infolog or Dialog or anything else by which information can be displayed on Screen using CRT.

Windows Printer Margins D365 Retail

Hello All,

While Printing Receipts via Windows Printer Layout Margins are aligned to Right, in AX R3 version i did it by assigning the Margins to Zero using windows printing function, but in Dynamics 365 I'm not sure how it can be done.

Appreciate if some one can help to figure it out.

Error during the activation of MPOS for Micrososft Dynamics 365 Operations

Hi community members,

I am trying to install MPOS on my laptop. after installation when i try to activate the MPOS i get the following error:

DA3001 - A connectivity error has occurred and your device can't connect to the server. This may be due to one or more of the following reasons. Contact your system administrator.

A connectivity error has occurred and your device can't connect to the server. This may be due to one or more of the following reasons. Contact your system administrator.

  • The server URL typed may have some issues, check for typo errors or if it matches the HTTP protocol of the server.

  • Server can't be reached because it is offline;

  • The Application pool has stopped. Restart the pool, and try again;

  • The Server host name can't be resolved because the DNS can't be reached;

  • Server is actively refusing the connection because the port you are using is not allowed through the firewall;

  • The local system doesn't have network connectivity;

  • The local system firewall is blocking outgoing connections. Add a firewall exception for the application.

Hello everyone,

I face up an issue during transaction validation, I found shift and transaction which is causing this problem, and it indeed have validation status error. 

Error: Retail Transaction discount amount (0.15) is not equal to sum of Transaction Lines' discount (0.15)

We never had issue like this before so any help will be greatly appreciated :)

I have a query during installing a deployable package on Cloud Hosted Sandbox environment, as per docs, it's mentioned to start at  step Generate a runbook from the topology, the default topology data is given for dev vhd as below:

For Cloud hosted environment i changed the default topology data with Name and Service Model list for each machine AOS-1, AOS-2 and BI Server, as we have 2 AOS and 1 BI, when i execute run-book i receive a message stating for other service model list execute the step on each machine, but as in the docs it's not provided to run it in each machine ,here it's confusing , should i run default topology data on each machine with machine list or only AOS1 is sufficient.

I tried executing default topology only for AOS1, it failed in step5 with error as below :

Reset Financial Reporting Data mart Dynamics 365 FO On-Premises

Hi All,

Project dimensions are not shown in MR Designer, i tried to rebuild data mart by following the steps provided by MS:

I validated the table Connector.MapsWithDetail, State type is set to 5 for all except Fact which is 3.

When we try to login to report designer after the Successful reset of Data mart, we are facing errors as below:

The connection to the Financial Reporting DDM database failed. The server name and user credentials are required.


 

I restored the backup before reset and we are able to work, but no dimensions.

After reset i restarted the Nodes of MR and left it for a while until it sync the data back to DB, but without luck.

 

Your help is appreciated.

Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations warehousing app

Unable to Print Standard receipt in CPOS.

Hi All,

I am getting error "The currently configured printer type is not supported. Please contact your system administrator." while trying to print standard receipt via network printer in CPOS.

I have installed hardware station and I am able to pair it up.

Note :  No error in event viewer.

Steps :-

1. Created entry in Hardware station in store. (Entry below).

2. Created hardware profile and attached to store.

 

3. Goto organisationadministration -> network printers and entered name and network address for printer.

4. Ran full data sync.

5. Download hardware station and installed with required details (installed fine).

Please suggest.

Error in Process status messages

we had to reinstall the Asyc client database (Store database) in AX 2012 R3 (CU12)

after distribute the data from headquarter to store server, when I press Process status messages it takes a long time to process before this error shows,

I am getting above error when trying to sign in at MPOS app. Standard app is working perfectly fine with the same combination but not the customized one.

Hello Techies,

I'm facing an error in RSSU Installation, Realtime service failed with Error as below:
The resource principal named abcd.operations.dynamics.com was not found in the tenant named abcd.onmicrosoft.com.
This can happen if the application has not been installed by the administrator of the tenant or
consented to by any user in the tenant. You might have sent your authentication request to the wrong tenant.

In Authentication i have given admin consent to the app and provided all Read/write rights.

Kindly need your valuable suggestions asap. Thanks.

Dynamics AX update installer reports no internet connection found.

I am trying to update my AX 2012 R3 installer to the latest patch version.

When I run the installer (axupdate.exe downloaded from LCS) I get an error on the download and install updates page "No internet connection found. Please verify that your internet connection is available."  Obviously I have internet on this machine and can access https://update.lcs.dynamics.com/Update/PackageSelect/?nobr=1  from a browser no problem.

I have noticed that the installer is trying to use TLS 1.0 to access the update site. Which is refused.

I have run an SSL report on update.lcs.dynamics.com and have found that it is only accepting TLS 1.2 connections.

Is there an updated installer that can use TLS 1.2?  Is there another way to download the updates?

Unable to connect to company in Management Reporter

When I log in to Management Reporter on Dynamics365. I found an error "Unable to connect to the 'company' company. You don't have access to this company". I already be system administrator and security administrator role. I use Dynamics365 update 11 Hyper-V from Microsoft. Do you have an idea to solve this problem. For more information, I have created new company on Dynamics365.

Retail Printed Receipt Alignment Issue
